Excellence in Education,
Opportunity for All.
One Community. Many Pathways. Endless Possibilities.
No matter the school or pathway, Centinela Valley remains committed to nurturing every student’s potential. Our dedicated educators, support teams, and community partners work together to create safe, inclusive, and empowering learning environments where all students can succeed.
Centinela Valley Union High School District serves the vibrant communities of the South Bay, where we proudly educate approximately 5,200 students across our campuses.
Our district includes three comprehensive high schools — Hawthorne High School, Lawndale High School, and Leuzinger High School — each offering rigorous academics, award-winning athletics, and a wide range of specialized academies and programs. These schools provide students with rich experiences in the arts, sciences, technology, leadership, and career exploration.
For students seeking alternative pathways, Lloyde High School, our continuation school, provides a supportive environment focused on credit recovery and individualized learning, helping students get back on track toward graduation. In addition, the Centinela Valley Independent Study School offers flexible, personalized education for students who thrive in a self-paced, independent learning model.
